Welcome to my Art Dekko blog!!
Named after this, my Dekko 8mm Cine Camera of 1947.
I love the Art Deco style of 1920's - 1930's,
but I do believe it slowly extended into late 1940's and possibly early 1950's.
Dekko is an old English word derived from the Hindi word 'Dekho',
meaning to look / see.
Dekko made several 9.5mm cameras during 1930's, but went on to make 2 models of 8mm cine cameras post war. This 'Model 110' in 1947 and a later 'Model 128' in 1950.
